Disc chipper
The blade is mainly used for cutting logs, and the quality of wood chips is better. It is used more in pulp and paper mills.Drum chipper blade: the cutting blade is mounted on a cylindrical drum. Drum chipper blade has wide adaptability to wood varieties and can be used for all kinds of wood such as sheet.
The blade classification
The chipper blade can be divided into three kinds: ordinary processing (4~6 knives), multi-knife structure (8~12 knives) and helical surface structure.These three chipper feeding methods have oblique feeding and mouth feeding (or horizontal feeding) two kinds.Flat mouth feeding is generally used for chipping of long logs, while inclined mouth feeding or flat mouth feeding can be used for chipping of short logs and veneer.

The material
In general, the chipper blade is made of alloy tool steel. After professional heat treatment, the hardness of the blade is in HRC55-58°. The edge must be sharp and wear-resistant for a long time to ensure the quality and production efficiency of the cutting wood.
